We are honored to invite you to a conference featuring M. Thierry FLAMAND, President of the CAA’s Executive Committee, and M. Nathan HARDMAN, European Head of Compliance at Liberty Specialty Markets.
The conference will focus on the following topics:
• Distribution: M. FLAMAND will discuss the findings from the non-life distribution questionnaire sent to insurers in 2024 and will recommend best practices.
• Regulatory topics: M. FLAMAND and M. HARDMAN will provide insights from their respective perspectives of supervisory authority and practitioner on significant current regulatory topics including Value for Money, the complaints questionnaire sent by CAA, the Digital Operational Resilience Act (“DORA”), the AML credit & surety exemption and the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (“CSRD”).

Language: The session will be held in English.
Members only: Thanks to the generous sponsoring by Elvinger Hoss, the event is free of charge but reserved for ALJB (including AIDA) members who have paid their 2025 annual membership fee. It is therefore recommended that all insurance experts interested in the conference who are not yet a member, file their application through ALJB’s website before the registration deadline and send an e-mail to AIDA as indicated below. Becoming a member is easy (website registration: https://www.aljb.lu/index.php/en ) and only costs 95 EUR per year for individual and 300 EUR per year for corporate members.
Registrations: only via www.aljb.lu (section Events – Next events, accessible with your member credentials only) by 11 June 2025 at the latest. The number of participants is limited to 80 and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
Certificate of attendance: Participants who sign the register on premises will receive a certificate of attendance. As ALJB has been accredited by the Luxembourg Bar as a training organisation, members of the Bar can use this certificate of attendance to comply with their continued training obligation.
Parking and public transport: There is no parking available at the venue. The closest car park is Monterey. The nearest tram stops are « Stäreplaz / Etoile » and “Hamilius”, which are a 10 minutes’ walk from the venue.
