Fundamental Rights in the European Union: Main Principles and Contemporary Challenges
This course explains the EU’s legal and policy framework for protecting fundamental rights, with a focus on the Charter of Fundamental Rights. Key rights covered include non-discrimination, data protection, the prohibition on torture and inhuman or degrading treatment, as well as the human rights due diligence legislation for companies.
